Rain's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

Rain's Story...
Rain's photos really do not do her beauty justice. She is such a pretty little cat. Rain came to us after being hit with a car. Someone had seen her laying in the street one day and then called animal control to pick up her "dead" body. But Rain was very much alive, she was frightened and in pain. She suffered with a broken pelvis from her accident.

Within a few days, Rain's absolute sweetness showed through. For quite some time she was only able to lay in her bed while we made sure everything she needed was within her reach. Then one day she got up and walked out of her bed and sat at the front of her cage looking for pets! We were shocked.

Now Rain runs around with the other kitties during play time as though nothing ever happened to her. Rain adores other cats, she frequently rubs against them and grooms them even though the others sometimes don't return her love.

We don't know how old Rain is but we estimate that she is about 2 or 3. She has been dewormed, spayed and is up to date with vaccines. She has also tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Adoption fee: $125

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rain, a Secaucus Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Secaucus, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Secaucus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Secaucus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Secaucus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Secaucus paves the way for another one to be saved.
