Tatum's Story...
Adorable Tatum is just too cute! Those brown eyes just tug at the ol' heartstrings! We have busted her out of jail! She has arrived in Portland all the way from a high kill shelter in California and is looking for a forever home. She is only about a year old. Spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and comes with a free health check at Mt. Tabor Vet Care. We think she is a pug/terrier mix. She weighs about 9 pounds and wants to be your new best friend!

Foster mom's note: This little girl is a snuggle bug! She is smart and willing to please. We just love her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tatum, a Portland Norfolk Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norfolk Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Norfolk Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norfolk Terrier breeders who help with Norfolk Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
