found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
We made the decision to pull Archie because we could not stand the idea of this poor boy being in the pound with his disability. However, not being able to hear the terrible sounds of the pound may have been his saving grace.
We know that some dalmatians can have difficult temperaments, but this boy is nothing but sweet! He loves to curl up in your lap and lean against you. Archie is 8-12 months old and only 36 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and has started his heartworm treatment. He will finish up his treatment at the end of November and we are hoping to have a family waiting to take him home!
Gee...do you think this guy likes kids much? Archie is a sweet oaf of a dog with a bubbly personality and loads of energy. He needs a home with some 2-legged siblings and a yard where they can run, run, run. He'll be a handful, for sure, but there are many families that need just this type of dog to keep those kiddies busy! He's so clearly a doll that I'm sure you'll easily overlook his goofiness!
Archie is a 50 lb. Dalmation mix and has been neutered, vaccinated and wormed.
Unfortunately, poor Archie is heartworm positive, but he is receiving treatment and will be as good as new in no time. The treatment is highly effective, and with a young dog like Archie, we know that he'll recover fully. He does not have adverse effects from the infection and will be available to move into his new home by the week after Thanksgiving.
Wally is currenly boarding at our partner vet clinic in Memphis, TN. Due to a shortage of foster homes in our area, we will not be able to transport Bankit to our area until he has a committed adopter. We are part of a rescue network that works so save dogs from the Tipton County Animal Shelter in Brighton, TN. Prior to rescue help, the euthanization rate for dogs and puppies was 90%. In the last year and a half, we've been able to place over 300 dogs into loving forever homes.
We realize that adopting a dog sight unseen is not for everyone, but we are absolutely committed to making the best match for both our dogs and our families.
