Peanut Butter Cup's Story...
Hi! My name is Peanut Butter Cup. I'm a pint-sized ball of joy looking for a forever home! I love to play a lot. One of my favorite toys is START II's Balls of Fur (you can order your own through the donations page on their website!). I'm still a baby, so I'm looking for a home that will provide me with age-appropriate activities and diet, guide me along as I blossom into an adult kitty of awesomeness, and keep me as their companion forever. I've heard so much about kitties getting returned to shelters because they weren't kitties anymore - and I'm only 7 weeks old! So, forever family, remember, that I'm in this for keep, 'kay? You gotta be all in, too!

If you are interested in meeting Peanut Butter Cup, please call Donna at (201) 944-9185 or email startkayne@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut Butter Cup, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
