Rocky's Story...
Rocky ( 3 years old, unaltered, Boxer) is a huge sweetheart. He is well tempered, listens very well and will do anything to please you. His favorite thing to do is giving kisses!

He can get a little excited and hyper but will calm down pretty fast.

He knows stay, lay down, shake and sit, and would do even good walking without the leash.

Rocky is batteling an earinfection right now, but he is on medication, which we also will provide for the new owners!

Rocky's Adoption Fee is $82, which includes: Microchip, Vaccines ( Distemper & Rabies), Heartwormtest and deworming. If you're interested please call (785)239-6183! If no one answers then please leave a message! You can also contact us via email at nicole.p.storm@us.army.mil

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Fort Riley Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Fort Riley, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Fort Riley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Riley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Riley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Riley paves the way for another one to be saved.
