Brady (adoption pending)'s Story...
A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED.

When the other dogs get too rowdy, Brady steps in to settle them down – make way for the sheriff! Brady is a gorgeous, one-year old sable sheltie, and if you look closely, you can see his one blue eye. He is affectionate and would rather cuddle than play. Brady likes going for walks and does well on a leash, but is a little shy around new noises. He is a gentle guy and would do well with children of any age. Brady came into rescue from a family and is crate trained. House training is going well but is still a work in progress.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brady (adoption pending), a Mission Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Mission, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
