My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trinity is a beautiful dog, she has lovely blue eyes that just steals your heart. Her beautiful markings in her coat get her a lot of attention. She is a young dog around a year old but appears to have had obedience training as she is very well behaved in the home. She is great with other dogs and would do well with another dog in the home that liked to play. She is also fine with cats although she does want to play with them. She is completely house trained and would do well in a home with older children or adults only. She weighs approximately 20 lbs.

Here is what else her foster family had to say:

Trinity is so soft that you just can’t help but to cuddle and pet her and she loves the attention. She also loves to play either on her own or with another dog. She loves her stuffed toys. She will pick one up and bring it over to my dog to start a game of tug or she will quietly lay with it and play on her own.

She is social however she will bark at strangers at first. It is not aggressive and often her tail is wagging and she is just waiting to make friends. It’s almost like she’s barking because she’s unsure if she should get any closer but her tail is wagging away because she’d still like to say hi. She doesn’t run away and she goes from barking to best friends very quickly. With training and confidence building I am sure this would stop. I’m not sure however that a home with young children would be good for Trinity because of this. She really is a friendly and loving girl but her barking might scare a child. She doesn't bark at people she knows.

She is completely house trained and can be trusted to have the run of the house. She likes her crate and will even go in it to sleep if we are just sitting around. Trinity sleeps with us at night and will sleep until it’s time to get up so she’s great for sleeping in on the weekends! She is pretty quiet in the house but will bark at my dog or cat when she wants to play, she also barks at strange noises so I’m not sure if she would be good for an apartment.

She is great with other pets. My cats tends to hide out but she does want to play with her. Same thing though… she barks when she wants to play and they are not playing with her. She is very happy when she’s in her crate but she will bark if I go to another floor and leave her in there. I feed her in there as she eats kibble and my dogs eat raw so I don’t want them sharing. She loves to play with her toys. I would put her energy level as low. She does love to play but she also has down times where she is sleeping or just hanging out. She is still young though so she does have a lot of energy but I wouldn’t say she’s a dog that you need to keep tired to keep her calm.

She doesn’t bother with food I am eating. I don’t leave things unattended and easy to steal but she doesn’t come to beg. She doesn’t chew anything. She really is a great dog with all her house manners. She knows sit, down, she comes when she’s called, and understands no. She is fully house trained. She is crate trained. The crate is open for her to go in whenever she wants and she often chooses to sleep in it. I crate her when I go to work so she’s used to it but other than that I leave her with the run of the house if I go out and at night she sleeps with me. She really doesn’t need to be in a crate but I want to keep her used to it. She needs leash work. She likes to pull but we are working on it. She was fine in the car.

Trinity is a very happy and loving girl. She loves being around people. She would be fine in a home with another dog or even happy in a home where she was the only dog and spoiled rotten. She just wants to be loved and has lots of love to give back. She loves to cuddle with you but is also happy laying on the floor or in her bed. She’s a young dog and loves to play. She will bring a toy over and ask you to play with her. She is nervous around new people so will bark but at the same time she really wants to say hi and be friends. I think over time she will learn she doesn’t need to worry. She is very well behaved and seems to have been trained in obedience and house training. She still needs work on leash as she does pull. Trinity has the most unusual markings and beautiful blue eyes! She is such a beautiful dog! Her photos really do not do her justice.

If you think Trinity would be a good addition to your family, please submit an application for consideration.
