Gigi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Gigi's Story...
Gigi came to our rescue with 6 other small dogs whose elderly owner had passed away. All of the dogs were somewhat frightened and in need of vet updates. Gigi was the only female and she has now been spayed, had a dental, had her shots, chipped and checked out. She is now ready for her forever home. Gigi is about 5 years old and would like nothing better than her own person to love. Since she lived with a very elderly person she has been used to using potty pads in the house but under the careful training of her foster parents is now learning to go outside. Gigi is a very sweet girl and deserves a wonderful loving home for the rest of her days.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Bellingham Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
