Melba's Story...
Hi my name is Melba, I am a healthy, happy, 2 year old staffie bull cross, and I am fully grown at 37 pounds - perfect size for cuddling!
I am kennel trained , house trained, car trained and love walks - I'm making great progress on leash as well. I like sharing my food and toys,I would be good in any type of home, but I love other dogs, so if you have a dog for me to play with, I'd love to get to know them!! I love playing tag with my golden retriever roommate, swimming and going to the off leash park, but I also am extremely laid back and love to sun bathe, get cuddled and getting pets and belly scratches.
I'm a social butterfly too - I'm good with people of all ages, including kids, and have met lots of people, young and old. I am looking for a home and family to call my own - maybe it's you?! Apply to meet me today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melba, a Saskatoon Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
