Darcy's Story...
Hi my name is Darcy. I am a 10 week old Black and Brown mottled Domestic Shorthaired kitten. I was abandoned by my mother when I was a day old along with my other three brothers and sister. A shelter staff member bottle fed and hand raised me. Because I was hand raised I think I am a human and that she is my mom. I am the friendliest kitten you will ever find. I am litter box trained and would make a great indoor family cat. I am also good with dogs and other cats. The shelter is providing my neuter, microchip, rabies shot, and my first feline distemper shot with the adoption fee. I love to just be with people of all ages, and will curl up in your lap or play with you anytime. I am looking for a family and home to call my own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darcy, a Chino Valley Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
