Ruby's Story...
APPLY TO PRE-ADOPT ME...I WILL BE AVAILABLE TO GO TO MY NEW HOME AUGUST 15, 2013. Hi, my name is Ruby and I am a 9 month old female Chihuahua. My foster mom, Eva, rescued me along with my babies. I was a great mother to my babies, but it is now time that we all find homes of our own. I am described as a typical Chihuahua because it can take me a little time to warm up to new people, but I am a very sweet girl who loves nothing more than to be loved on. I get along well with other dogs and am currently working on housebreaking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Walker Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Walker, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
