My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Lulu is looking for a home where she can cuddle on your lap for ages and won’t be expected to fetch Frisbees or otherwise do strenuous exercise. She likes to walk and is good on a leash but Lulu is, well, pudgy and rather lazy. She does not overeat but she came into rescue a roly poly Papillon and has not lost weight despite a diet. She’s just got a slow metabolism like some people. And we know this because we had every possible blood test done and there is nothing physically wrong with her. She does have a luxating patella in one rear leg (that’s a knee that doesn’t always stay in the socket) but it seems to cause her no pain and there’s no reason to fix it surgically.

Lulu is very affectionate and loves everybody. She is good with other dogs, good in the car, and crate-trained. She needs to be taken out on a schedule to maintain her housebreaking. She has the sweetest face and eyes to melt your heart. She is 7 years young and weighs 11 pounds. You can’t tell she weighs that much if you aren’t holding her or indulging her favorite thing, which is to have her tummy rubbed.
