My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ash is a very sweet cat who loves to sit by the window to watch the birds fly by. He will cuddle up on your lap while you watch your favorite tv show. Ash has allergys to certain food so he needs to eat a hypoallergenic dry food. So if you think Ash is the one for you come on by to our shelter to meet our wonderful boy Ash. Ash is part of our Senior Pet Foster Program.

Foster Program Foster Program for Senior Pets:

Since we are a No-Kill shelter, we have many pets that have resided at the Shelter for years, with little chance of adoption through no fault of their own. The intent of the CASI Animal Foster Program for Seniors, is to place these harder-to-adopt animals, primarily senior cats and dogs, into loving and safe homes so they do not have to spend their twilight years in a shelter. Despite how much we love and care for our animals, there is no place like home. We are looking for individuals who, with our help, are ready to make a difference in a pet’s life. You supply the home, love, patience, and commitment and we will provide routine medical costs (such as vaccinations and medications) and assist with any transitional issues. If you think you have what it takes to be a “Foster Parent”, give us a call at 210-658-4821 or stop by and see us at the Shelter.
