Bailey's Story...
Hi I'm Bailey! If sweetness came wrapped in fur, this is what it would look like! I'm a petite girl of about 30 lbs. I found myself needing a new home when my previous family moved and I couldn't go along. I was sad in the shelter but then SDHH took me to a fabulous new home and now I'm a happy girl! I have other doggie siblings and a couple of cat siblings too. We get along great. I love to lay next to my furry brothers or sisters. I also enjoy being with my people.,whether we are just relaxing at home or going for a walk. I like short walks, if it's not too humid! I'm also very good in the car so we could go places together! I am heartworm positive so I will need to be on the heartworm preventative once a month for 2 years to get rid of them. The doctor said my heart and lungs sound great and I am healthy and very adoptable! If you're looking for a great little companion, I'm your girl! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Wilmington Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
