Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rio was rescued from a horrible breeder situation. She and a couple of puppies were skinny, had very little hair, covered with scabs & ticks & almost at death's door. One of the puppies died shortly after arriving at the veterinarian's office. She is now looking SOOOO much better. She's an incredibly sweet sable & white girl, about 5 years old. She's gets along with EVERYONE! She still needs to be spayed, etc, now that she's healthy & will make someone a wonderful companion. Rio is currently being fostered in the Bartlesville OK area, so please call 918 663-7595 to make advance arrangements to meet her in Tulsa. If you can meet her in Bartlesville, call 333-1122, ask for Lyn, to make arrangements. The picture isn't great, since it was taken with a polaroid camera, but it gives you an idea.
UPDATE - Miss Rio has now been spayed & is ready to go into her new home. She would make a wonderful dog for a home with small children, an older couple, or anyone in between. She is a very gentle, sweet girl who has tons of love to give!
