LADY's Story...
Lady is a very sweet older girl. She is very house trained; she will not use the bathroom in her cage. This means she takes every advantage of the once or sometimes twice a day volunteers can get all dogs outside to use the bathroom. Lady just needs to be walked and loved. She promises she will not not make much trouble; any wild days she might have had ended long ago. Perhaps her sojourn was when she got lost and then found her way to the shelter on 7/6. She is now available for adoption! Lady is a 6 year old, 35 pound beagle that is housebroken. She is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed, heart worm tested, and microchipped upon adoption. Lady is waiting in Cage 325; her ID is 557207.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This beautiful pet and many others need a forever, loving home and are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Drive Marietta, Georgia 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LADY, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
