My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, there. Little Bailey here. The place I previously lived was busted for cruelty and hoarding. I lost several of my friends to malnutrition and neglect, but I made it out alive! I am still very weak and sick, but have been told many times that things are going to get better. I’m so unhealthy right now, though, they weren’t even sure if I was a boy or girl at first. But I’m a boy!

I had sores all over me; the hair was missing from my tail, ears, nose and other areas from horrific flea bites; my nails were a batch of overgrowth and cut-passed-the-quick; and my teeth were caked with tartar. Since then, I have received a dental, proper nail trimming and a couple of baths with very special shampoo. I still have some stained fur, and the hair on my tail may never grow back, but I look and feel so much better. My sores have healed up nicely, and I am getting coconut oil and other nutrients in my food to help with my skin issues.

Aside from my health issues, I am such a sweet l’il guy. I love the people (snuggles, please!) and don’t show any aggression towards the other dogs here. Don’t tell, but I am one of Mama Donna’s favorites. I give kisses and hugs and she loves it.
