My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sleepy is the smallest of the pups, but has nothing but love to give! Sleepy is an outgoing puppy who takes a little while to warm up to new situations. Sleepy is a world-class cuddle bunny, though, and will snuggle forever in the crook of your arm. He quickly got used to the 'big dogs' here and seeks out his friends.

Sleepy is up-to-date on vaccines, wormed, neutered and microchipped......NOW, he's just waiting for the right family to love him - FOREVER!!!

If you would like Sleepy in your life - forever - please go to www.impawsablerescue.org and complete an online application. Remember, personal and veterinary references and home visits apply to all Im-Paws-Able pups!

Sleepy and his brothers and sisters were found in an abandoned Baltimore home with their mother and another male. They were brought to the shelter for safety. They were less than a week old. Over night, their mother, who was undoubtedly confused and scared, injured several of the puppies - killing one. When attempting to remove Mom for an examination by the vet and to tend to the injured pups, she lashed out at the shelter staff. They knew that she could no longer tend to her babies.....who were too young to be on their own.

A wonderful Im-Paws-Able Volunteer took ALL SEVEN survivors and is currently bottle-feeding them. These pups' surrogate mom is doing a fantastic job and all pups have survived. They will be available to go to their new homes on August 7, 2013.

We are excited for their new families!!! Won't you apply to adopt this 'Bottle Baby" and love him forever???
