My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hapi and Kestrel...a truly dynamic duo! They are both wonderful dogs; loving, affectionate, obedient, playful, outgoing, friendly and active. Hapi is a 5 yr. old male and Kestrel is a 9 yr. old male. They love to snuggle up together, by themselves or with their humans. They've integrated so easily into our foster home, lives and hearts.
They are excited and happy when we have visitors, welcoming everyone with wagging tails (and bodies) and affection. Both are good eaters but not food aggressive at all. They love to play together, and have even inspired my old dog Harley to become more playful again. They always like to have me in their sight, so I also fondly refer to them as my little ducklings. :) When they aren't crated, they sleep burrowed under the covers, both of them always against my legs.

Hapi and Kestrel are eager to please and are both tender hearted. When corrected (which is rare) they respond immediately to nothing more than a stern voice. During the time I've fostered them, there have been no "accidents," destructive behavior or aggression. They are crate-trained and willingly go to their crate with just verbal direction and I always reward them with a treat. They walk well on a leash and both do agility training.
Hapi is a bit braver than Kestrel, but since I've had them, Kestrel has really come out of his shell. He's now as outgoing as Hapi, in general. I call Kestrel my "armpit doggy" because when, and wherever, I sit, he curls up under my arm against my hip to doze. He has the most endearing little flop to his ear and an expressive face.

Hapi is very secure. He is cute and funny. He has beautiful, bright eyes full of gentleness and love. He loves to play and is often found play-bowing with his squeaky stuffed carrot in his mouth. He needs and gives a lot of quiet affection.

I really can't say enough good things about these two boys. They are wonderful, fun companions. If it is remotely possible, I pray they will find a forever home together. They are very attached to each other. We have grown to love them so very much and will miss them tremendously. Their forever family will be blessed by their sweetness and devotion.
