Marcy's Story...
I'm Marcy, an adorable little peanut who traveled to Wisconsin on an airplane all the way from Savannah, GA, to get to Happily Ever After! I arrived in the cheese state on June 9, 2013. It was a long plane ride but it was well worth it! Why did HEA rescue me you ask? Well, I tell myself it's because I am cute and lucky! They tell me it's because people are always looking for small dogs and they want to encourage adoption instead of buying dogs from breeders and puppy mills...I guess that works too but its a lot simpler to say it's because I am cute and lucky ;-)
My estimated birthdate is June, 2007, and I'm the perfect age because what you see is what you get...no mystery like there is when you get a puppy! ..and what you will see is that I am a perfect angel! I get along with everyone! I like to cuddle, play, and just be with people. Other critters are cool, but I am totally into people! They make me smile! Love me today, you just have to! ~Kisses, Marcy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marcy, a Green Bay Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
