Frankford's Story...
FRANKFORD is an energetic girl who was found as a stray and brought to the shelter by some nice police officers. She’s a 1-2 year-old, black Pit Bull Terrier Mix who weighs about 45 lbs. She is young and playful and is waiting for that special someone to give her love, training and exercise. After her rough start in life, she deserves that and more! If your family already has dogs or children under 10, bring them on down to the shelter to meet Frankford!

Act quickly to adopt Frankford. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankford, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
