Greenlee (foster care)'s Story...
This tiny little girl is Greenlee. Greenlee is a 1-2 year old female pit bull mix who was found as a stray. She is a petite little lady weighing in at only 25 pounds. While she was living on the streets, some not so nice people were spraying her with water. She has some hairloss and scabs, but despite it all she is a very sweet girl. Greenlee loves to play with toys and will never turn down a play session. This pretty puppy is waiting for her happily ever after, so come meet Greenlee!

Act quickly to adopt Greenlee (foster care). Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greenlee (foster care), a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
