Clare's Story...

Clare is a spayed female Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix, DOB April 17, 2013.

Meet Clare. Clare is an awesome little girl who had a tough beginning but has made up for all of it. Clare was much smaller than her siblings but what she lacks in size she makes up for in personality. She is very sweet and loves to be with you and even better, on your lap. She is loving, smart, social and great with kids, cats and other dogs. Clare would do well in almost any home. She is trained to cedar which makes house training much easier. Clare currently weighs 12#.

Clare will be at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday 7/20, adoptions hours are 11-3.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clare, a Howell Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Howell, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
