Bryant was obviously someone's pet at one time as he is well socialized and well behaved in the home. He just seems to take everything in his stride and is very trusting and accepting of whatever you want him to do. Although somewhat reserved with strangers, he makes friends easily and once he gets to know you he is very affectionate and cuddly.
He is fully house trained and can be fully trusted to be on his own in the home. We have never had to use a crate with him. He has never chewed anything or gotten into anything he shouldn't. He knows his basic commands and would be easy to train if you wanted to teach him some tricks. I don't believe he was ever walked on a leash but he is coming along nicely in that regard. He is very nice to walk and has a lovely prance to his step. Overall he appears to be a confident dog who enjoys meeting new people, riding in the car and playing in the yard. Although he is very quiet in the home and would probably do fine in an apartment, he really loves to be outside and I think it would do him best to have a backyard to play in. A family with children that were old enough to play with him would be ideal. Another friendly dog in the home would be fine but all in all he is more interested in being with people.
He is a low key dog that would love to take a nice saunter around the block each day and opportunities to run and play in a backyard. He has a lovely silky coat that sheds very little if at all. He is very quiet and rarely barks and is just an easy going lovely companion. He would do well with anyone from a single adult to a family with children however I feel that he would do best in a calm environment and would probably not be at his best in a really busy household.
Bryant would be a good choice for even a first time dog owner. He is easy to care for, well behaved and eager to please. He loves the company of people and would enjoy being someone's best friend.
