PUPPY TOMMY's Story...
Tommy and his brother Billy were dropped off at a high kill shelter along with their sister. Their sister was adopted but they were left behind until a foster mom came, took one look and fell for those sweet faces. Tommy is the quieter one of the two. He is an Australian Cattle Dog mix who is about 14 weeks old and weighs 16 pounds. He should grow up to be about 45-50 pounds as an adult. Tommy is a very laid back boy and gets along great with other dogs, children and even cats. This cutie will be a great family member and friend for many happy years. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY TOMMY, a Salem Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Salem, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
