Flower's Story...
Wait until you meet our little Flower.....it's impossible not to love her! Flower is a 2 1/2 year old beagle mix that came to us from Virginia looking for a great home of her own. Flower is an absolute love. She has the sweetest disposition and is so very friendly. Flower is the submissive type, and flops right on her back to get belly rubs as soon as she gets to know you. She is very calm, easy going, and well behaved too. Flower also walks well on a leash and will sit nicely when asked. She enjoys going for walks and checking out our exercise yard, but it seems no one played with her much as a pup, since she doesn't quite know what to make of toys. Besides....she would rather curl up in your lap than play with toys anyway! Flower just loves everyone, and she doesn't seem to mind other dogs either. She is so deserving of a wonderful home with a family that will love her forever. Please make little Flower's dreams come true. 7/14/13 File#22635

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flower, a Forked River Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
