Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say HELLO to Checkers a very pretty 7 yr old blue merle girl. What a sweetheart! She is laid back, quiet and has a sweet disposition. When you say her name or talk to her her little nub goes 100 mph! She is house trained, good with other dogs but can be a bit Alpha with some and she is good with cats. She plays with her foster homes cat (when the cat wants to play ). Checkers loves attention and a really good body massage! She also likes to go to the beach and swim, loves the feel of the sand between her toes. She is going to make someone really happy and a great pet. Won't you be that someone?

Checkers was treated for heartworms and is ready for a new home! She is fostered in St. Pete. 8/1/07
