DOB: August 2009 || BREED/COLORING: Terrier Mix; Red & White || SIZE: Zelda weighs about 10lbs and is fully grown. || HISTORY: Zelda was found as a stray and taken to the shelter. While she waited there for a new home, it became apparent that she was pregnant. They scheduled her for euthanasia, so went and saved her life - and she gave birth to two puppies the very next day. || PERSONALITY: Zelda is waggy and playful with other dogs, but is quite fearful of people. She was obviously neglected and/or abused. It takes her some time to warm up to people... but she's not mean or nippy, and acts happy and waggy, she's just a nervous girl. She needs TLC. || TRAINING: Zelda is doing FANTASTIC in her foster home with housebreaking. She uses pee pads during the day, and when the door to the patio is open she goes potty outside without fail. || WOULD DO BEST: Zelda needs an adult-only quiet home and would really do best with at least one other small dog in the home. || CATS/DOGS/KIDS: Zelda is GREAT with other dogs (LOVES other dogs) and with cats. She is not recommended for children because she is so timid. || VET RECORD :All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. || AVAILABILITY: This dog is available for adoption now and is being fostered or kenneled in the San Fernando Valley area. Please email us and we will send you an adoption application.
