My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lil' Lucy's Story...
Hello, my name is Lucy and I'm a baby red-nose pit bull terrier! I was named after Lucy from "I Love Lucy" because of my beautiful red hair. My foster parents actually saw my previous owner dump me out on the side of the highway and take off in their big, fancy SUV. I ran after it as fast as my little baby legs would go, but I couldn't catch up. Luckily, they stopped and picked me up, and now I'm staying with two extra large bully dogs and one gigantic white, fluffy cat. I love it here! I get along with everyone except at dinnertime, and then I apparently still think I have to keep everyone from getting my food. I must have come from a mulit-dog household because I am SERIOUS about my food. ( My foster Mom is working on breaking me of this bad trait. ) I just had my first check-up at the vet's office, and I did so well. They said I am approximately our months old and very healthy. I took my shots like a pro, and now I'm sporting a shiny new tag on my pretty pink collar. I'm so excited to be loved, and I can't wait to find my forever home with someone who will promise to love me forever and NEVER dump me out on the side of the road again. I absolutely LOVE to cuddle, and I am completely potty trained. I can hold me pee for hours, and am completely shy about going in front of anyone. I love toys and fetching, and I have already mastered walking on a leash and totally love going for long dog walks! I am learning something new every day and I enjoy it so much! My foster Mom says that I am extra smart, and for this I am very proud! I'm extra eager to please and will try super hard to learn anything that I am taught. I think if I had my choice, I would go to a household where I could be the only dog, simply because I would get all the attention, but if I do go to a home with another dog, Mom says it should probably be a dog of the opposite sex. I am super excited to find out what's in store for me, and I'm available today to approved applicants. Please call Lisa if you're interested in learning more about me or to fill out an application. :) 706-957-8316
