Facts about Tzia

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Tzia is a beautiful, small girl, who has the personality of a puppy dog. She is super friendly, happy and playful. She is also a bit clumsy and totally fearless. Because of her curious and trusting nature, she can get into real trouble. An open window? She will try to jump. A moving fan? She will try to play with it. A washing machine? She might try to get inside. Because of this, she can only be adopted by a very conscientious cat owner who will take every precaution to make Tzia’s environment safe. Tzia’s home has to be “baby-proofed” for her. She has lots of energy and needs to play almost constantly. She will be a great cat for a home with other playful cats or with children over 7 years old, who can be taught how to safely interact with her. She also has an enormous appetite and, like a dog, she never seems to have eaten enough. So, her adopters need to understand how to feed her and how to keep her from over-eating.
She is an ideal cat for people who have time to play with her and have a sense of humor. She is mischievous and extremely funny!
Tzia was born around 4/19/11.

About Anjellicle Cats Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Anjellicle Cats Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer,
not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a member
of the Mayor's Alliance and a New Hope Partner with
the New York Animal Care & Control (ACC). For over ten years, this Hell's Kitchen shelter has been a lifeline
for abandoned, stray, and neglected cats and kittens.
In addition, we work closely with the ACC to pull out
those who are in danger of being euthanized due to
overcrowding. Each one is welcomed with kindness and medical attention, with the goal of placement into a permanent, loving home.

Well-known within the Broadway community, we have been featured on Fox 5 Morning Show, New York 1 Television and in Time Out magazine. We always enjoy meeting new volunteers and people who share our mission -- to compassionately rescue, care for and place New York City's homeless cats and kittens.

Come in today to see our "cat room" and maybe you'll
find a new friend -- one of our truly "Anjellicle

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you've found the cat of your dreams and wish to begin the adoption process, you only need to call or email Anjellicle Cats Rescue and arrange to meet a representative at Spoiled Brats, 340 W. 49th St.. Adoptions are done by appointment although there is usually someone on site every evening from 6 - 8pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Once you've filled out an application, someone will go through an adoption package with you with updated information on cat care. We require a donation of $125 for one cat or $225 for two. The kitten or cat will then be personally delivered to their new home.

All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated with FVRCP (3 in 1) and spayed or neutered. We believe it is much kinder to adopt kittens with another kitten or cat unless there is already a cat in their new household.
