Cree's Story...
Cree is a wonderful purebred German Shepherd Dog. He is 7 month old and still growing.

Cree is very energetic and knows nothing besides "sit". It will requiere alot of patience to handle this very energetic dog. Cree is really sweet, but he tends to jump and just go "crazy". He also has a very high drive, he learns pretty fast and would be a awesome working dog, even if you just do it as a hobby.

With the right training, Cree would make an outstanding Search & Rescue Dog, Maintrailer or even Schutzhund. Cree needs work!

Cree is absolutly terrified of small children!! He will need a home with either no children or teenagers!

Cree's Adoption Fee is $82, which includes: Microchip, Vaccines ( Distemper & Rabies), Heartwormtest and deworming. If you're interested please call (785)239-6183! If no one answers then please leave a message! You can also contact us via email at nicole.p.storm@us.army.mil

Act quickly to adopt Cree. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cree, a Fort Riley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fort Riley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Fort Riley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Riley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Riley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Riley paves the way for another one to be saved.
