Nala's Story...
*This is a courtesy Post*

Nala is a 2 year old female Australian Shepherd. Sadly the family that rescued her can no longer keep her. She needs to go to a home with NO KIDS. She is house trained, leash trained, up to date on vaccines, but is Not spayed at this time. The circumstances of her needing to be re homed are she bit the owners daughter for reason unknown. She has been quarantined in home for ten (10) days. She is fine with adults, and teenagers (16)+. She is good with large dogs, and it is unknown if she is good with cats. She needs to be re homed ASAP. Owner asking $60 dollar re homing fee, and I will send her with remaining food, dog bed, dishes, leash and lead. We are trying to help keep this girl out of animal control. If you are interested in meeting Nala or for more information please contact Cristina Boysen Jackson at 480-353-0158.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a scottsdale Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in scottsdale, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
