Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgie's human mom died and a friend took him in temporarily but she couldn't keep him because she already has several pets of her own. Georgie is a gentle giant. He was a little frightened and overwhelmed at the friend's home. And now another move --- to a foster home. But he's settled in and made friends with his foster roommates. Georgie is quick to rub up against you hoping for some loving. Or he'll head butt your hand to give you a hint. He loves to be up high on either a cat tree or anything else where he can stay and see what's going on. This guy has a super sweet disposition and a loving nature. He's become VERY special to his foster mom who would keep him if she didn't already have 6 cats of her own.
If you're interested in meeting Georgie please fill out our on-line application on our web site (www.FatCatRescueInc.org) and we will arrange a day/time that's convenient for you. Or if you have questions please call 847-306-3688, x-101 and one of our volunteers will return your call.
Fat Cat's adoption fees are: $125 for kittens under 6 months; kittens over 6 months and cats are $100; for cats over 7 the fee is negotiable. Second adoption are half price. The fees include spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, medications for fleas, ear mites, and worms, testing for feline leukemia and FIV, and microchip.
