Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Candy was a stray who was shot in the face. We don't know if it was intentional or an accident. A cat lover took her to the vet who recommended she be euthanized. The bullet knocked out one of her upper canine teeth, then ricocheted into her tongue taking out part of it, then knocked out a lower molar, and finally lodged in her neck. When she went to the original vet her entire mouth and tongue were black from bruising. The cat lover wouldn't give up on Candy though because she's so young and sweet. Fat Cat's vet treated her and Candy is now well and a happy little girl. She's a little shy around strangers but if the shot in her face was intentional, it's completely understandable that she would be cautious around humans. But start petting her and she calms right down and shows her true inner personality --- that of a very sweet kitty. Candy is healthy, young, sweet, and ready for her forever home. This is one special little girl who deserves a loving and safe home. For more information or to meet Candy, call her foster mom at 847-487-2371.
