Oliver's Story...
Oliver’s name probably should have been spelled “OLOVER” because that is what he is - he’s most definitely a LOVER not a fighter. Oliver loves to love every human he meets. Nothing makes him happier than being cuddled in someone’s arms - he especially likes to put his paws around your neck to snuggle in nice and close. Being a young cat, Oliver also likes to run and jump and play! So when he isn’t taking a cat nap in your arms he will be keeping you entertained. He has a gorgeous soft, shiny black coat and bright yellow, inquisitive eyes.

Oliver came to Katie’s Place because he was a stray. He is a very well behaved boy and gets along with his roommates. He would really love to find his forever home though. His life got off to a rough start living on the streets and he has a long life ahead of him. Oliver is well-loved at the shelter but it would be awesome for him to grow up with humans he can call his own. Come and meet Oliver and prepare to fall in LOVE.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Maple Ridge Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Maple Ridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Maple Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maple Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maple Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maple Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
