Daisy's Story...
Daisy is one loveable girl. She is a large dog about 80 pounds however is very gentle and thinks that she is a lap dog. She is house trained with a schedule and use of a crate. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home however is mellow and easygoing and the young, active dogs that want to play all the time tend to be to much for her. She is quiet, easygoing, gentle, loveable and affectionate. She knows several commands, sit, shake, down, roll over, etc... she is very smart and would love to learn new things. Anyone that gets to have his sweet girl join their family is going to be very lucky. -

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Cokato Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Cokato, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cokato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cokato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cokato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cokato paves the way for another one to be saved.
