SATCH's Story...
SATCH is a mature Border Collie/Flat Coat Retriever mix - all black with a gorgeous coat and polka dotted feet. He is a shy guy at first and needs time to warm up to you, but you can win his heart by taking him for a walk. He is wary of other humans at first and his previous family did not keep him or their visitors safe, nor try anything to help him other than herbals and a little training. Satch is neutered and current on vaccinations. Adoption fee $150. For additional information or an adoption application, please email dancingdogrescue@earthlink.net or call 3zero3-882-zero837. FOSTER HOME OR SPONSORSHIP FOR KENNELING NEEDED.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SATCH, a Littleton Border Collie/Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Littleton, or seeking a Border Collie/Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in Littleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Littleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Littleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Littleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
