My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carmel is a favorite! She is a very sweet female pit bull around 18 months of age. Carmel was found after being hit by a car, she had a fractured hip. Carmel received surgery and is recovering very nicely. No one claimed her at the shelter and she was in a rescue only shelter (for pit bulls) in Ohio when we received a request to help her. Carmel does well with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She is still currently recovering from her hip surgery but is doing very well, she has remained sweet through the entire ordeal. Carmel is up to date on shots, spayed house and crate trained. Carmel would love a home to call her own, her hip is expected to make a full recovery and she will be ready to romp in the yard and go for walks in no time! For more info on Carmel please email nepabullies@gmail.com. You can make a donation or view our adoption information on our website: www.lcpoinc.org "From the foster": Carmel is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever come in contact with. She is a lover who gives endless kisses. She loves toys and bones and sleeping in what has become her dog bed. Her most favorite thing to do is to play with her canine foster brother. Carmel would definitely benefit from having a family who will play with her or has another dog that will play and tolerate her endless puppy play. Her favorite game to play with her foster brother is tug with a rope. She shares her toys and bones very well. She also loves her kitty foster siblings and is very gentle with them. Carmel is fully crate trained and will sleep in her crate through the night with no issues. She has learned how to sit since being with us and is working on her house training and other basic commands. She will make a great addition to any family!
