My name is Petra. I was on the euthanasia list at the ACC in New York City until FOWA Rescue saved me and my kittens. At that time I was very sick, weak and emaciated. I was placed in a wonderful foster home and eventually all my kittens were adopted. I even became a foster mother to another orphan kitten whose mother had died.

I am still in a foster home and now healthy and well fed--in fact maybe a little too well fed. I should probably lose a few pounds but life is good now. The only thing missing is a forever home of my own. I like people and to be petted but will let you know when I have had enough. If interested please fill out an application online at and call FOWA at 973-902-7515.
