Tipper's Story...
Hi my name is Tipper. I am an Australian Shepherd mix, with what I am not sure. My personality is very Aussie like though. I like to be close to my people and I love to play. My favorite game is fetch, but I also like to play in the water from the hose. I am getting along well with the other dogs in my foster home and with the little kids as well. I will need regular walks and some regular brushing to keep my gorgeous coat tangle free. I am about 5 years old and came to 4 PAR because the other dogs in my family were picking on me. If you think you could give me a safe place to call home and don't mind having a constant shadow, please call to learn more about me and to schedule a meet and greet.(480) 471-3520

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tipper, a Scottsdale Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
