Barney 2's Story...
Barney's a great big love bug. He's about 6 months old and will probably be about 60-70 lbs. full grown. He's great with kids and loves to give them kisses. He'll make a great family dog with his sweet laid-back attitude He's crate trained, walks great on a leash, housebroken and looking for a furever home. For more info call his foster mom at 386-236-8529.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney 2, a Ormond Beach Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Ormond Beach, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Ormond Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ormond Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ormond Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ormond Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
