Maya's Story...
Hi my name is Maya. I am a 5 year old Saint Bernard/Bernese Mountain Dog mix. I am very gentle and kind and love to be with people. I am great with other dogs and probably with cats. I would make a great family dog and love children. I am housetrained and love to go on walks. A nice big yard without foxtails (I am allergic to them) would be awesome! Please come meet me at the shelter! You will fall in love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Chino Valley Bernese Mountain Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
