Soot's Story...
Soot just recently arrived at the sanctuary from a small town near Clovis, NM. He came with his roommate Slyvester. Soot is shy and timid despite his sharp gaze. He is friendly and will allow people to pet him, but he doesn't like to be pickup up. He just needs a little more socialization to bring him out of his shell. Here at the sanctuary he will get lots of attention from volunteers and staff to help him become used to his surroundings and to help him adjust to new situations. Soot is good with other cats and would do well in a home without dogs or very small children. We would like to place Soot in a foster home to help him become more outgoing.
