Quince-Courtesy Post's Story...
Meet Quince! This friendly and loving miniature schnauzer was rescued from a breeder of many dogs and is looking for a furever home! Approximately 9 1/2 years young, he may be called a senior boy, but he has so much energy and love to give! Quince gets along with dogs (he has two larger dogs as foster siblings) and cats and all ages of people. Quince loves to be held and lay next to you when watching television or reading. He is crated during the day and over night and any time no one is home. Quince does have an enlarged heart and needs to take daily medication. But it sure doesn’t slow him down. Quince knows that senior dogs have a harder time finding a family to love them. He is convinced that someone out there will give him the chance. Might it be you?

If you’d like to make Quince a part of your family, please contact Sue at She can fill you in on this sweet guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quince-Courtesy Post, a North Olmsted Schnauzer (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
