My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trooper is a 12 week old Lab/Shepherd mix. He came to us when we went to vaccinate a litter of puppies in the inner city and noticed he was not using one of his back legs. We could not leave this little man with a serious injury to his leg so we took him into our rescue and got him medical attention immediately. Trooper had a fractured femur and we were not sure if it was going to be fixable since it had been left broken for a while. Fortunately, Trooper received amazing vet care and we were able to save the leg. Trooper is doing amazing… his leg is healed and he is ready to find his forever home. This sweet boy is a lover. He is very sweet, laid back and very willing to please. He is crate trained, current on his vaccines and neutered. He loves other dogs and children and would make the perfect new member to your family!
