This dog is currently fostered in Brown Deer, WI

This dog is up to date on all vaccinations

Breed/Age: Alisa is a 10 month old Chihuahua. We believe she could possibly be purebred, but don’t know for sure.

Size: Alisa is a small dog, weighing 10 pounds

Activity Level: Alisa is a calm dog. She loves to relax and sleep on her chair, but will go out and play in the yard with her friends.

Foster Family Observations: Alisa is just a sweetheart! Her tail is wagging all the time and she absolutely LOVES to get belly rubs. When it is time to come in from outside she stands on her back legs and does a little dance, which she also does for treat time and dinner time. Alisa gets along with adults and all dogs, but is shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn't take her long to warm up to people. Alisa is fostered with 2 dogs larger than her and one her own size, with play dates with huge dogs and absolutely loves everyone!

Alisa does well in her kennel but prefers to sleep with her foster parents, though some times she will jump down in the middle of the night and lay in the kennel. She does seem to bark at strange noises and people she sees outside, but she is very respectful and well mannered in the home. She knows some basic commands, and we are continually working to improve her retention of the commands.

Alisa seems to be much more interested in people than she is in toys or bones.

She is a wonderful dog who is sure to capture your heart!
