My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHOCOLATE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!Chocolate is an adorable, fun-loving,outgoing, social and very happy guy in need of a family! Chocolate is a Labrador/Pit/Pointer mix, but mostly looks like a Chocolate Lab. The poor guy was turned in when when his family could no longer spend a lot of time with him. He's about 2 years old and is still very puppy-like! He loves to play and will be a fun companion for an active family. He does great with people and has also gotten along with all the dogs he's met at the shelter. He is crate trained, but since we have only observed her in a shelter environment we cannot say for sure if he is house trained or not, so we do need interested adopters to be willing to possibly take on this task. He was a housedog, so we are assuming he is, but he may need a brief refresher after living in a kennel. Chocolate is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from a kill-shelter in southern IL. We would love to help him out, but all of our foster homes are filled. If interest is shown in him, Chocolate can be transported to Chicago. He will be fully vetted and prepared for adoption. If seriously interested in possibly adopting this handsome guy please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com
• Chocolate’s adoption donation is $250. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Chocolate from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
