Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a seven year old male Schnauzer/Poodle mix. He loves treats and will turn in circles on his back legs if you'll give him one. Buddy has food aggression so he needs to be fed separately if there are other pets in the home. We think he had to fight for food before being rescued. He has been neutered, is heartworm negative and current on his vaccinations. If you would like to meet Buddy or have questions, please contact us at info@FORrescue.net. Buddy is located in Huntsville, AL. He is a courtesy listing by FOR for a fellow rescuer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Chattanooga Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Standard) for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
