Baxter's Story...
Meet Baxter! He is one social little guy! He and his mom and brother were pulled out of the middle of the road. No one claimed him so now they are in a foster home and quickly need to find his forever home. He is very social and hasn't met anyone or any dog he didn't like. He would do best in a home that has a fenced in backyard so he can run and play b/c he still has puppy energy in him. He and his brother are cratetrained but will need reinforcement for housetraining. He is making progress on the leash. Loves giving kisses!! He is UTD on shots and a neuter certificate will be given if adopted before his surgery date. Email Lindsay@savinggraceanimalrescue.com if you can give him the home that he deserves!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baxter, a Birmingham Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Birmingham, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Birmingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Birmingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Birmingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Birmingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
