Okay, so we don't really think this guy is a cross between a Doxie and a Golden Retriever, but when you're this cute, does it really matter??! Barney is a smiley, happy boy who is so unbelievably cute he barely looks real . . . and one lucky family is going to get to call their their own!! Barney has reason to smile since his life was spared: he ran out of time at a high-kill shelter in AR but everyone at the shelter fell in love with him and couldn't bear the thought of putting him down when his "time" was up. So they pulled him, vetted him and now he is being fostered in a home with lots of love and other dogs and puppies to play with and everybody loves him!! Barney is such a gentle soul who seems to get along with everyone, and certainly knows how to be a best friend. At just about 8 - 10 pounds we know he'll always be the perfect size for your lap (which is a good thing because it's his favorite place to sit!!!) Barney is very affectionate, on the submissive side, and will be so grateful for a forever home - - and you'll be grateful for having found a little boy this sweet. Barney is between 1 - 1 1/2 years old and is very healthy.
